Mischevious Moos 3

Hello Lovelies,

It's been a couple weeks since I last posted due to the fact that I have been poorly with a kidney infection :( yes I did feel very sorry for myself. I am pleased to say I am now on the mend and I feel like writing again! What a better way to do this than doing a mischievous moos post, I wanna give you all a good giggle and get back posting on a funny note.

Now last week I was down to one child as my lovely mother in law and sister in law so kindly had Ava for me. You would think one child would be half the trouble! WRONG. I'm not going to say that she kept getting up to stuff because she didn't, so I was lucky in that respect but what she did do was big. The most mischievous thing my Bella has ever done. I will start with some of the smaller things she got up too, the more common things that probably many other children do difference is I'm letting you all know that your not alone having mischievous children is quite common.

I haven't posted in a couple of weeks so at least one thing occurred when Ava was here. First we had the salt saga as I like to call it, this is a reoccurring issue. We have a dining table but every now and then me and Tom sometimes eat when the girls are in bed and when we feel lazy we will eat at the coffee table, don't judge. We will take the salt with us, what can I say? we like our food seasoned. Being the forgetful people we are we tend sometimes to forget to  put the salt back on the dining table, even though we have cleaned up everything else, strange eh. This of course means that the salt pot is there in the morning, and its easy for little hands to reach and unfortunately if these little hands reach it before I do then BOOM we have a salt explosion all over the table and if that's not enough little fingers may decide to dip into it and lick it off her fingers, GROSS. Now of course I come straight in and remove my children clear it up and put the salt pot back, that should go without saying I'm not going to let them lick salt all day, I don't even  let them have it on their dinner, that should go without saying too, I mean who does! I'll leave that one there as I seem to be rambling.

Now as you maybe aware Bella does more than Ava but before I carry on with Bella's antics I'll tell you about one of Avas! This occurred while I was ill and my mother in law came round to babysit not only the girls but me too ha ha. My lovely Shellbell as we like to call her bought me and the girls some lunch Ava decided she wanted some fruit and yoghurt this pleased me as getting healthy things down her could be a struggle at times. However Ava had her own ideas of what she wanted to do with her fruit and Yoghurt and eating it wasn't on of them. Ava is a big fan of cookery shows, Jamie Oliver being her favourite this is what Ava was going to copy, using her fruit and yoghurt of course. Using these  two ingredients she copied the programmes down  to a t. Mixing, talking us though what she was doing, putting into the oven (pretend of course), revealing the finished article and of course making a lovely mess!

Back to Bella now! These next two are personal favourites of hers too one being more reoccurring than the other. Bella has a thing for tissue boxes when she sees one it is like she is being drawn to it like a magnetic force. Of course she don't just sit there and look at it thinking how lovely these box of tissues are, Bella being Bella decides to pull them all out the box until I am left with none. By the time she has finished she is sitting there in a cloud of tissues looking rather pleased with herself, this is the reoccurring one, well not any more I have put them higher up in my bedroom! This second one is something I am sure she would do again if she could but she cant as I now have those lock things on my cupboards, yes it is to do with food! She loves playing with spaghetti and one time decided she would pull it out the cupboard and decorate my kitchen floor with it, I did find it funny but it was a buggar to clear up! I don't know if any of my lovely readers have cleared up a lot of raw spaghetti but if you haven't you don't wanna, infact I believe I found it too hard and got Katie too do it ha ha.

Now we have reached our finale, I have no photo evidence of this because I just couldn't in my panic. The story goes like this...

Me and Bella were home alone and I was doing my usual tidy up of the flat. In my tidy up  I sprayed the kitchen sides with bleach kitchen spray but one of Bellas bottles were there and I didn't want it getting sprayed so I briefly moved it on top of my oven (its electric) and then  wiped the sides down. At this point Bella was pottering around doing her thing and I thought it would be a good idea for me and Bella to have a shower and get dressed so in there I took her and we had a nice shower and had a laugh splashing water at each other. When I got me and Bella out the shower I picked up Bellas nappy I had taken off her and put it in the bin but as I got to the kitchen  I was in for a shock. The room was all smoky as I glanced at the oven all I could see was a puddle of melted plastic and a bottle teat sitting on top of it.  In my panic my towel dropped too the floor and there I am butt naked, blinds open opening the windows grabbing the teat off the oven and getting as much plastic as I could off the oven. Don't worry guys Bella was fine! While I was a stupid naked mess, Bella was going down the basket of clean underwear and running around with a pair of Avas knickers on her head. Luckily no one was hurt and I caught it but I think you can understand why I never took a pic! haha.

I would love to know what things your little ones get up too!

Mine maybe little moos but I wouldn't have them any other way, apart from nearly burning the flat down they keep  me very entertained!

I Look forward too filling you in next week!

Sorry it was a long one guys but thanks for reading :)

Until Next time...

A Moan From A mum

As a parent you go through so many emotions and so many selfies for that matter. Now come on lets be honest these selfies portray such a shit image of life as a parent. Yeah they are all happy and sweet and cute, but come on realistic? No. Don't get me wrong it is like that..some days okay they are more often than not, but come on I cant be the only one who has such rubbish days that by the end of it I want to stick my head in a blender, now do people selfie them days? No.

This morning looked so promising, I woke up surprisingly un tired, which for me is a rarity. I'm usually walking around half asleep like a zombie at 9 o clock seriously, if you visited at that time you would feel like your on the set of the walking dead. But anyway lets get back to this morning and like I said I was feeling pretty good, I had to check the date because I thought I had been asleep for a whole three months. I felt that damn good. For a woman whom mother nature is calling I was pleasantly surprised, once the shock had worn off I started to get on with my day.

I like to have a look around the house before I start the day, lets be honest I knew the day was gonna be utter rubbish when I saw the flat was an absolute bomb site! I just closed my eyes took a breath and took myself slowly into see the girls. To be real I saw their sweet little smiles and they melted my stress. With that breakfast was next on the agenda as always. I set about making different breakfast for all of us. Ahh. I bit my lip swallowed the stress and got on with it, the girls needed food. It weren't their fault that they fancied different. But like come on it took me that long that when I sat down to eat my blooming toast it was stone cold and floppy! Come on. Really. Meanwhile I was still staring at the pig sty that sort of looked like my home. I had to tidy. Of course I had to I am Mum, cleaner, cook, launderette, ironing lady ... well the list is endless. But I am on my shitty period for crying out loud! I just want to curl up with a big bar of galaxy. (I have finished sulking). One puts herself in cleaning mode and now I'm thinking great I can recruit a little assistant, Ava. Like come on they are toys spread all over the living room floor, surely she will be all up for helping her mummy. I don't know if any of you have experienced I child that is dead against the idea of tidying up but if you haven't its like Godzilla has been unleashed. I had now started a battle which I was now aware was going to last hours. On my side of the tidying up, well that was almost non existent, I had  my little Bella perched on my hip, her bum seemed to be super glued there too. To be honest that I didn't mind. Made me feel wanted and with Bella at the age where she was always on the go I was grabbing cuddles where I could. But you know things had to be done, so along came one handed super mum. By this time I was well into a screaming match with my teenage wannabe 4 year old. No the tidying hadn't been done. But yes we had, had more arguments in half an hour than big  brother had, had in a series. Not to mention time is getting on and Bella is getting ratty! On the brighter side the living room was now gleaming. No Ava did mot cave, I did. Ava 1 - 0 Mummy. My clothes  are now finally on. The girls have been playing nicely. WOO. Nah ah. The bedrooms were well they weren't bedrooms they were toy pits. Ava time to tidy! This was not going to go down well. So now I am trying to do my make up one handed Bella in one arm make up in the other, I have one flip flop  on because the other one had seemed to have grown a pair of legs and my little teenager is gearing up for round 2. VICTORY. My make up is on, yeah its patchy as fuck but its made the face and at this point I really don't care plus I am still trying to get my 4 year old to tidy not good. This leads on to my next disaster, I thought lets guide Ava too her room, surely with it staring her in the face she will want to tidy it but apparently kids can stand mess more than us adults. Did I make it as far as the bedroom. No. What I did do was trip into a wall and stub my toe. OHHHHHH THE PAIN. I needed to go to A&E. It was broken. Okay, okay no it wasn't but it bloody felt like it. A stubbed toe is NOT for the faint hearted. Though my injury had its upside, its seems my hurting stops arguments and makes Ava tidy. Who would have thought it. Note to self, in future when needed to avoid toddler arguments and needing the to tidy their mess just injure myself, don't care how. As long as I'm in freaking pain. Ava 1 - 1 Mummy.

Do you know what she did after she had tidied and my throbbing toe and shrunk back to normal size and after I had prayed to god to ease my day. She smiled. Simply smiled. No Ava don't do that. That's the bloody worst. It makes my heart melt. It makes me forget, the courage I had built up to confiscate toys, treats ect as punishment. It reminds me that no matter how testing a morning I have had as mummy. I am lucky. I would rather be pulling my hair out over my children than pulling my Hair out because I don't have them.

I love you both my little sunshines.

Thanks for listening to my little moan!!

My Little Ballerina

Our Lovely Readers,

As you all know we have recently moved from Essex to Berkshire, so enough of a distance. I have recently posted the effects the move has had on me and I how I have dealt with it, But I haven't gone into  detail on the effects it had on my girls. Bella being so young she hasn't noticed at all. She wouldn't have noticed if we were living on earth or outta space as long as she was fed washed and loved. That we have always done, so explains how the move went over her head. Ava though was that much older and knowing so she noticed.

Ava was very happy about the move in general and on the out side. She would constantly tell us how she loved her new home and run around like a nutter. Prior to the move Ava had been settled in a nursery and loving it, she had friends and her 'work' was coming along great, she became a right little social butterfly. It practically ripped my heart out having to pull her out of that nursery. I thought she was going to take it worse than she did, but actually she was alright. It was a shock how she took It but made me so proud. Since she has always commented about her friends and it tugs at my heart strings whenever she does, making the decision to not put her into a nursery here prob made it more. You see there is not long till she goes to school  and being in some sort of child care since the age of 9 months I wanted some time with her before she grew up even more and went to school. Selfish? Probably but I had her interests at heart too, I didn't want to get her settled all over again just so she  could leave and start school, it was too a much all at once, I felt. I had my health visitor practically pressuring me to get her into nursery which made me question my decision, it took courage I believe to follow my instincts and say no its my decision. However Ava kept saying about her friends and I couldn't  stop the guilt eat away at me and I did question my choices, but as she never said anything in a sad way it made it easier. At the same time Ava's behaviour became worse it led me to wonder why, was it the move? the lack of socialising with other children? I don't know. I was still adamant of my decision and that was not going to change, once my mind is made up its  made up. Its a pain in the bum sometimes haha. Ava has inherited that off of me too. So any way I started to look at other ways I could get her into socialising with other children.

Of course there were a lot of groups ran round here, but that's not what I was looking for. I wanted some form of consistency. Its what Ava needed. I wanted her to see the same groups of people every week, make friends and rebuild her confidence in them social situations (she had started going shy again). This is when I felt like I had been given a gift from god. A new dance studio had opened literally next to me. I thought I would look into the prices ect. To my delight the prices were so good I couldn't believe it, and they did dancing for Avas age! she chose ballet which I knew she would. Seeing the delight on her face when I told her she could go was priceless, I will never forget it. She was so excited when  she first went as she is every week. A whole burst of energy comes out of her on ballet days. She's improving every week too! Not just on the dancing but on the socialising half too. She is making friends. The first lesson she wouldn't talk to anyone, it did make me worry, but now she will involve her self. I am so proud of her. Ballet was a saviour. Its helped maintain the progress we made with nursery. More surprisingly its turned out the ballet is something she really wants to do, she is always practicing her feet ect. Right now I am happy with the decision I have made. I get to spend time with her before school and she still has interaction with other children. I am one extremely happy and proud mummy right now.

The dance studio Ava goes to is Vibez in Woodley Reading their prices are cheap but lessons are good and lovely people, I any of you live near I recommend if interested.

Thanks for reading :)

Where We Have Been

So we haven't been blogging a lot over the past few months which we have valid reasons for but hopefully soon we should at least have one post up per week.

Ava & Bella loving their new home :)

Where we have been?
Me (Katie) well my illnesses haven't been too good lately to the point where I haven't opened up my laptop in ages. My Colitis flare up has no sign of settling down and I am still waiting for an appointment with the Gastro ward. The fatigue is getting the better of me. My painkillers dose has been upped which obviously comes with more side effects so I am like a zombie pretty much most of the day.

Bethany .. welll things have finally gone to plan for her and my Brother and they now are living in Berkshire so we live in the same county finally and their place is about 20 minutes away. It all happened so fast that they had just under two weeks to buy everything for the flat and pack everything up. So on the 19th October Beth, my Brother and most of both of our families all came together to help move in. For the past year they have had bad luck when it comes to finding a place to rent so it was all hush hush when they got the go ahead to move as they didn't want to temp fate.

So things have been abit manic lately and this weekend will be even more manic as on Saturday Beth and Tom are having a little housewarming party/get together, Sunday myself, Beth, Tommy and the girls are off to Harry potter Tour and then on Monday it is Bethany's 22nd Birthday and as Tommy will be working, I am staying the night before so I can spend the day with her and go for lunch and obviously a Costa. Once this weekend is over then I will hopefully well I WILL be seeing Beth least once a week and hopefully most weekends. I shall take my laptop over to hers and as she lives next to Costa we shall be having a blogging costa date most weeks haha.

I have energy for the first time today and I guess the medication and coffee is to thank for that. So I am going to try and write a few posts so I can put them up next week :) Hope you are all well :)

Auntie Buys: Matching Outfit From Next

Whenever I go into town I always pop into Next to have a look but not for me, for the girls. I think Next is probably the best shop for children clothes and they actually have both sizes for the girls so they can match. Few weeks ago I was in Windsor and they had this lovely top and leggings for the girls in both of their sizes and the prices are not that bad either.

Watercolour Elephant T-Shirt - £6
I love the quality of this t-shirt which is so soft. I love the sequins aswel it makes a normal t-shirt look more interesting. Perfect length for Ava but bit long on Bella but that is because she is a petite 9 months old baby girl.

Navy Leggings - £2.50/£3.50
To go with the t-shirt I got Navy Leggings which have a crochet lace detail at the hems. They also both have a black pair of these leggings as for the price they are amazing quality. I thought Navy looks bit more interesting than a black pair and thought Navy could go with pretty much most tops.

What I love most about these clothes from Next is that they are in the offer which is 1 for £6, 2 for £10 and 3 for £15 which I think is amazing offer. Not every leggings/tops are in this offer but there are a lot to choose from and I have gotten 3 outfits in this deal so far and will defiantly buy more for the girls. I get Ava 3-4 years old and she is 4 years old in December and it fits perfectly so I may start getting 4-5 years old for her next year and for Bella I got 6-9 months which are abit too big for her but I got her that so she is in the clothes abit more longer than if I would of got her 3-6 months. Bella is now 9 months old and is a very small baby for her age and is still in 3-6 months old clothing but then again it depends on what shops as no shops actually are the same size. In H&M I get Bella 4-6 months which is big and Ava 2-4 years which fits so it is defiantly a hit and miss with shops.

Has any of you guys got this t-shirt or any clothes from Next? What do you think of the price and quality? Let me know :)

Auntie Buys: Ava's Primark Haul

The other day I was in Primark and picked up a few bits for Ava. I didn't see anything nice for Bella and to be honest I am not a huge fan of Primark for baby clothes/sizes. I don't like buying for one and not the other but I wasn't going to just pick up something for the sake of it. Sizes are hard to tell in Primark even for ladies clothes so its abit of a guess and defiantly depends on the item itself. I got either 3/4 years or 4/5 years old... So here is what I got for my beautiful Niece Ava Lily..

Minions Pink Top/4 to 5 years old - £4
I'm not a huge fan of character tops to be honest but I had to pick this up for Ava as she loves Minions lately and they had other minions tops but this one was the best out of them all.

L O V E WHITE T SHIRT/4 to 5 years - £1.20
I saw that their basic logo t shirts where reduce to £1.20 I had a look and stupidly there was only two in Ava's Size. I loved this one though as it can be worn with a pair of skinny jeans and converses and that an easy outfit to put on.

MINT J'ADORE PARIS DOG T SHIRTS/4 to 5 years old - £1.20
This one is my fave! It looks more green on picture but it's a really nice Mint and I love the French vibe going on. If you ask Beth or my Mother, they would agree when I say I am obsessed with French themed items and even gone far as buying Bella a Eiffel Tower Bodysuit few months ago haha.

TWO BEACH THEMED NIGHTDRESSES/3 to 4 years old - £5
I saw these for £5 for both which I thought was a good price to be honest as they can be quite pricey. The white one has sandcastles shells lollipops dogs beach balls all over it which I thought was cute. The other one is a hot pink colour with a girl holding an kite. Ava wears nightdresses well and prefers them to normal pj's. I got her a Cinderella and a Frozen Elsa one recently and she gets so much wear out of them.

DOC MCSTUFFINS KNICKERS/3 to 4 years old - £3.50
Ava has gotten into Doc McStuffins lately which has meant every single Doc McStuffins item I see I have to purchased!! Sorry Beth and Tommy hahah!!! I'm sure Ava doesn't need anymore knickers, infact I know she doesn't as I did purchased her loads over the past month hahaha but still Ava will love these.

So that is what I got for Ava. As I said before, I think Primark have got abit meh with their kids/babies clothing lately but sometimes they have a few good bits. I did get some stuff for myself which I didn't even think of doing an blog haul so maybe next time I shall do a haul for myself?

Auntie Buys : Matching Blue Dresses

Buying clothes is always an exciting thing but when it is for babies and kids it is even more exciting. There are so many cute clothes out there and I could easily get into debt buying the whole store haha. One thing I came across recently is how not much stores have matching clothes for Ava and Bella size and if they have got same sizes, usually they are too expensive or not nice pattern ect. With Ava being a typical 3/4 years old for her 3 year old self but with Bella being really tiny for her 7 months self usually it's impossible or hard to find matching clothes in her size and Ava's. Lately I have been getting her 6 to 9 months but she still in 3 to 6 months. As always it does depend on the store itself, some clothes come up smaller and some come up bigger.

The other week I was in Boots doing me make up shopping and I saw in the end of the shop that the kids clothes had a sale so of I went to have a look. To be honest there wasn't anything good in the sale and without sounding horrible, I find some of their tops/dresses are abit OTT with their patterns if that make sense. Beth and Tommy dress Bella and Ava in such nice clothes and you just get to know their sort of clothing that suits them if that makes sense so now I have got to know what Beth/Tommy would like. Back to Boots... So I was looking thru the sale area and didn't see anything nice then at the corner of my eye I saw this Blue Dress with Spots and Stripes and I loved the colour. I know Navy suits Bella but this colour blue was an unusual colour that you don't really see around spesh in dresses. I instantly went to pick up the 3 to 4 years old size not even thinking to look at Bella size and then my Mother saw they have 6 to 9 months and I was like OMG I need to get these haha!! I actually got Ava a size 4 to 5 years as the 3/4 years looked tiny so the clothes must come up smaller in Boots as usually a 6/9 months dress wouldn't of fitted Bella. They were £8 each and annoyingly have gone down to £4 HERE in the sale but I do think they are worth the original price as the quality is good. I sent down these dresses in the post as I do love sending them little parcels as I don't see them alot. Also you can't see Ava shoes in this picture but she has on White Converses I brought her not long ago from Very. They are the new All White ones which are so cute and Ava loves her Converses. Bella also has on shoes I got her last week from TK MAXX which were only £3.99 ad came in a little box.

So now Ava and Bella have matching dresses, me and Beth have many matching items so now we need matching dresses for me, Beth and the girls haha.. I wonder if that actually exists? LOL. Also if any of you reading this know of any high street stores or websites that do matching clothes in size 3/6 months and 3/4 years old please comment below or Tweet us HERE as I'd love to find some more matching items for my Nieces.

Auntie Buys : Daddy's Little Helper

I thought I would start this little series called "Auntie Buys". As a Auntie of two beautiful girls I love nothing more than buying them stuff and treating them. They are not spoiled and Ava always says thank you and is so appreciated whenever she gets gifts. As I don't live near them, I do buy stuff if I go out and see something I know they will like so when I go to Essex it may seem like I have brought them loads but stuff does build up over time. Beth & Tommy are always thankful and I will mostly ask Beth before purchasing whether the girls need/want or would like so the stuff I get is never wasted and I always try to buy stuff that they actually need and I like to help Tommy and Beth out so I do ask every month if there is anything that they are going to buy so that I can either get it for them or put money towards. I do have abit of a problem with buying Converses and Cath Kidston for myself and the girls but that another post!

So the first item of this little series is a "Hi Vis Kids Helper Vest"  which I brought HERE for £3.79. This was a little jokey gift which I knew Ava would love because Tommy is a Plumber and Ava loves helping him around the house at weekends.

I do love buying little things like this that to us adults don't think are much special but kids love. Ava put this on straight away and loves it. So here is my first "Auntie Buys" post and I shall be doing much more of these because I'm slightly obsessed haha. I cannot wait for Bella to walk so I can buy her Converses haha!!!

Toddler Toilet Torture!!

My beautiful 3 year old Ava, Is a happy smily active clever 3 year old. She is not a sucky child and is always cheeky to the max! Such a joy to have and joy to look after making us cry with laughter every single day.

BUT then my daughter that I know and love disappears and this little girl who is curled up in pain & screaming turns up Infront of me and I felt helpless and panicky because this little girl is my daughter and there is absolutely nothing I can do to help her.

Sounds odd don't it? You see my little princess has been suffering with constipation for well over a year and I have had endless trips upstage hospital with her and would you believe things are not much better! It all started with the "classic" constipation where she didn't go to the toilet for days. Eventually when she went unnoticed a small amount of blood, and took her up the hospital. I got reassured that she was okay and was told to try lactilose. So I did. It didn't work. I then found myself up there again and got sent away with movicol and some diet changes. This worked for a bit and thought we were going somewhere.

Oh how wrong was. My poor little girl got hit with constipation again. This time she appeared to be in more pain. Walking around on her tip toes but going to the toilet a little bit. I have to give her disprol instead of calpol as she don't like taking medicine. With a history of bowel problems in the family I took her too the hospital I want her to be referred to pediatrician because the amount of pain she is in is horrible. Again they basically said its normal and for her to be screaming around the house is normal! He sent me away saying to ask my GP to reffer her he once again prescribe movicol. Now this works sometimes. Sometimes it doesn't and as soon as she is off it for a while she is bad again. I can't keep her on it forever surely!
The GP looked at me like I was mad when I asked for referral. I don't know what avenue to go down I hate seeing my little one in pain but no matter what I do or where I go no one has an answer that helps. I feel useless. She is going to the toilet Aswell but you can tell she is constipated and she is still in pain,  I just want my little ones constipation to clear up for good and so she can be out of pain and we can put it behind us.

Can anyone relate? Any advise this is more of a mums SOS for advice... Please get in touch via Twitter or Instagram EssexToWindsor

Toddler Tuesday - Unwell Toddler

Toddler Tuesday

Unwell Toddler

It is the begging of November which mean weather changes! As its gets darker earlier cold days and long cold evenings. We all feel it. No matter who we are, no matter where we from, male or female or young or old. Though I do find the first to notice weather changes are little ones.

As the weather has changed slowly the past few days so has Ava. Gradually getting a little cough which has got worse turning in to sneezes and a runny nose, now making her feel full on under the weather.

Little Ava much is not the kind of girl to lay down and let something make her feel rubbish, she will just not give in to it and rest. Like many toddlers I presume. When they do finally hit the sofa you know that its because they really do not feel well. Ava has had her bursts of energy but always has a come down straight after resulting in her laying on the sofa for a bit which is unlike her.

I knew Ava was not feeling great from this morning. She laid in bed until really late morning watching children tv. She does this anyway but not for this long. She stayed there when I went to the loo and made her breakfast. On a usual day she would get up and follow me, start running around and causing havoc, being the Ava we all know and love. As a mum you know instinctively when your child is under the weather. Always follow your instincts when being a parent. A mothers instinct is very rarely wrong. No one knows a child better than  their mother.

Another tell tale sign of a child being under the weather is their appetite. Nine times out of ten their appetite goes down, you may offer them loads of different types of food and they will not be interested. Ava barely ate any breakfast only some and she loves peanut butter on toast! She was not interested in lunch, and she only ate some dinner of a pizza not much of that. I gave her finger foods thinking and great big dinner may look intimidating when she feels like this, the only thing she is liking is vanilla ice cream, that is most likely because it soothes her throat.

Every child has a comfort. When they are ill they tend to want them more. This is what I find with Ava anyway. She loves milk and it comforts her. She has been carrying around cups of milk all day. When she wouldn't separate herself with it, it confirmed what I obviously knew. Thats she under the weather. I have got my partner to bring  Ava in some calpol  medicine and cough syrup, see if that helps.

Though she is not feeling great my little angel has kept a smile on her face refusing to be beat.

Remember too keep your little one wrapped up when going out make sure they have their winter coats clothes and shoes on! Children for some reason are the first to catch these things.

Halloween Night

Halloween Night

So here we done a post on our Halloween day and this is our post on Halloween night. It was Ava's first Halloween in Windsor so we made the whole day and night filled with Halloween stuff. From Us and Ava dressed up as Cats during the day, to Halloween Jam "Pumpkin" sandwich for lunch, "Halloween Coke" throughout the day which was limeade, Hot dogs & Spaghetti for dinner which was meant to look like brains but kinda didn't end up looking like anything ha but Ava eat them all up and also had "Ice Scream" with Jelly Worms and Orange glitter over the top to make it look more Halloween themed dessert which she eat all up. We got abit caught up with time so Katie quickly carved up two pumpkins and it was her first time so wasn't very creative haha!! Then Legoland Fireworks on every other night in October & November we all got ready to watch them from out back garden as we are very close to Legoland, so we watch that for 10 mins then off we went upstairs to get ready. We only had 5/10 mins to take off our cat make up and into something more scary which ended up in us looking like a we have been splatted with blood ha!! Ava got into her Ghost outfit and put on some white make up which didn't turn out properly but she looked so adorable. We went trick or treating with Ava and Tommy and apart from Tommy we was all dressed and ready for sweets!!! As I've said it's Ava's first year in Windsor so we didn't really know where to know so we just went local around our road ect but know we know for next year where to go and where not to go. We was impressed with some of the houses going proper Halloween in the front garden and it made us want to go proper OTT for next year. There was tape in people front garden so it was like a maze going in there, was fake blood all over the door and one looked like a scary graveyard!! We deffo will be making our front garden into a scary garden next year haha!!! Here's a few of our pictures from the night..

We had an amazing trick or treating experience with Tommy & Ava getting right into it and in the end Ava learnt to take more and more sweets and got less shy. Soon as we got home, Ava tipped all of her sweets on the table and we let her chose a couple so she can have before bed and then we took away the rest to have over the next few weeks well months!! There was loads!! Now Halloween is over, all we have left of it is sweets from trick or treat and Halloween cookies we made. Now onto Christmas!!!!

Lots of Love,
Katie & Beth xx
