Happy Birthday Tom!

Happy Birthday Tommy

Dear My Tom Tom,

Another year has come around, you are another year older, though you never look it, this makes me insanely jealous. Another year you have worked hard to provide for us. In this year you have made sure a lot happened for us and if it wasn't for you we would be sitting in our own front room right now. You never do all you do for people to notice or for people to tell the world, you do it for us your family because you love us just us much as we love you. You are an insanely fantastic fiancĂ©, loving me, giving me comfort, always being there for me when times are tough, giving me someone to talk too at all hours an working with me as a team to bring up our two gorgeous little girls. This is the perfect time for me to tell you what an amazing daddy you are, you never fail too make our girls smile or laugh, you are and authority figure and their bestest friend. Your the to give them a hand to hold and shoulder to cry on, your everything a daddy should be. So us as your family would like to say a massive THANK YOU for now, for the past and for the future. HAPPY 23RD BIRTHDAY TOM TOM/DADDY. Have the best day that you deserve. We Love you now and forever.

Happy 22nd Birthday Bethany

image from pinterest

Today it is Bethany's 22nd Birthday so I would like to say Happy Birthday to my Sister In Law, Best Friend and Blogging Partner. You are the most kind, funny and loyal friend I have ever had and I am so grateful that my Brother met you. You are an wonderful Fiancé and wife to be to my Brother and the perfect Mother to my Nieces. We have made some amazing memories together in the time we have been in our each other lives and every time we are together we never fail to laugh. we have lived together, cried together, smiled together and I am so lucky that you are part of my family. Living with you with most of your pregnancy with Bella was an amazing experience. You chosen me to be there for you midwifes appointments, doctors and hospital appointments when Tommy couldn't get time off work and I feel so blessed that you trust, love and care about me that much to want me by your side during that time. It was awful when you moved back to Essex but that didn't affect our friendship and infact in just made us even more closer. You are always there on the other end of the phone when I need you and now you are living closer means we can make so much more perfect memories. You have literally made my Brother into the most amazing man and father and I am so happy he has chosen you to live the rest of his life with. I hope you have the best birthday :) eat lots of cake, put your feet up and enjoy your day. Love Katie x

Being Organised For Occasions

I am the first to admit that I am crazily organised and abit OCD. If I am not organised, got peoples birthday gifts in advance or Christmas then it panics me a lot. I am totally opposite to my mother who literally writes out a birthday card the night before or on the same day which that would totally worry me. Most of my family birthdays are over but I have got Bethany birthday in October, Ava and Bella Birthdays are both in December then we have Christmas. I have got a gift bag full of pressies for Beth and then her main pressie is for me and her to go to see a show in London, which she knows about as I wanted to make sure I booked the show she would love to see. Luckily we have the same taste so I am waiting to book that nearer the time as it depends on dates/times as Tommy would have to look after the girls. So its just her birthday card and maybe a little few bits more that I have got to get her but I'm 70% done.

On 6th December it is Ava's 4th Birthday and then on the 19th December it is Bella 1st Birthday so this excites me ALOT. Obviously with Christmas being only a week after Bella birthday so I will probably just split the pressies in half. Depending on where they are living at that time aswel as if they was living just as a family of 4 then I will be able to buy items for their bedrooms ect. I really cannot wait for Bella's first birthday and Ava's 4th birthday of course. I really hope they are living as a 4 of them by that time so they can have a amazing joint birthday party.

Last week I was shopping in Camberley and got two items for Ava in The Entertainer but when I come home I thought that I will put those two items in a big bag for life kinda bag and just start collecting items whenever I am out and see something. Last year I done a Peppa Pig gift themed for Ava's birthday and for Christmas I done Ava an Frozen gift themed which I actually enjoyed doing because I made a DIY Frozen Hamper full of lots of goodies and she loves it. So this year for her Birthday I am doing a Doc McStuffins gift themed and have collected 6 items so far which have been put into a bag and stored in the spare room so whenever I buy something I can just put into the bag. Also for Bella I have got another bag for her and so far have only got one item which is an really lovely book but I need to start getting bits for her. I know I want to get something from Cath Kidston for both of the girls as I done it last year so I want to start making it an tradition and I have already picked out bits I think the girls will love from good old Cath. Luckily Beth is going to tell me things she knows the girls will want and love and is going to tell me so that I know at least I will get them stuff they both love. Me and Beth have similar taste for the girls actually so I know whatever clothes I buy they will wear. I've got my eye on some clothes from H&M, some Doc McStuffins items from Smyths Toys, Cath Kidston and Also TK MAXX do some good items but you have to get it when it there otherwise If you wait and go back days later, there is like 99% chance the item has gone but that is what I like about TK MAXX, its more limited addition in a way that not many are sold if that makes sense.

For me if I am not organised then it is a massive worry and with all my illnesses, I don't need anymore worry. I have a box that I keep under my bed which I have Christmas supplies like cards, wrapping paper, tags ect and I always buy that in the January sales as I cannot stand shopping anytime in December. Also in my wardrobe I have a storage box which is basically full of tissue paper, gift wrap, spare cards, random gifts, gift bags and it's so handy. I like to have things like that because there will always be a birthday my Mother has forgotten about and needs a card or gift bag asap.

So now my to buy list for this month is a Card for Bethany so I may Funky Pigeon it or shop around for one as I saw some lovely ones in Marks and Spencers the other day. Also cards for the girls, which I will get Funky Pigeon personalised ones but also a Doc McStuffins one for Ava to go with her Doc Mcstuffins gift theme hahah. Is anyone else super organised like me or do you leave it to the last minute?

Mothers Birthday Visit

So yesterday (19/07/2015) was my Mothers Birthday and we didn't have any plans made at all for any time of the day. Then I suggested going to Breakfast at Frankie & Benny with my Mother, her husband, my Nan and her partner so off we went there about 10am ish. Just before that I Face timed Ava so she could say Happy Birthday to her nanny & then Tommy said we are coming down to see Mum on her birthday in the afternoon so my Mother was literally so happy and excited to be spending her birthday afternoon with her two granddaughters.

At 12.30 am I was blowing balloons while everyone was asleep haha.
My Mother the birthday girl at Frankies and Benny.

So of we went for breakfast which was good then I popped into TK MAX as it was a retail park thing and I got a few stuff but nothing exciting. We came back and literally got changed into something cooler as the weather got hotter and My Nan came to pick us up as we were meeting Tommy, Beth and the girls in Windsor town. The weather was beautiful, literally like in the middle of being not too hot but a lovely breeze. So we met up and gave my Nieces the biggest cuddle ever also gave Bethany a big hug of course. We walked to the little funfair in Alexandra Gardens which Ava went on the rides with her nanny hahah, she had an ice lolly and slush puppy and Bella had her food then we started walking into town. We spent ages deciding where to eat and in the end we went to Francescos which is an Italian Restaurant and OMG the service, the staff, the food and the price!!!! Put it this way... we wished we had gone to McDonald's instead. I've been to Francescos two years ago and it was lovely so no idea what has happened. They was not accommodating toward children/babies at all and they gave Ava a orange juice in a pint glass which isn't ideal for a 3 year old even though she is careful that isn't the point. They didn't ask/offer a highchair at all we had to go and get one ourselves. As an Italian restaurant you expect the food to be amazing but I have cooked better spag bog myself! The staff were so rude but that didn't stop us having fun and spending lovely quality time together. Time actually just went so quick meaning we literally had to run to the car park as Tommy car park ticket was ending so we didn't spend much time together but still it was amazing to be together. We said our goodbyes, hugs and kisses which is always horrible and emotional and it never gets any easier. I am going down to Essex in 2 weeks time so I cannot wait to see them all again soon. As we was on our way home, My Nan dropped me into Tesco so I ran in and got 12 cupcakes for my Mother as you cannot have a birthday without cake right? its illegal haha.
Ava Lily loves spending the day with her nanny.

Bella Mai looking so beautiful.

I am so glad my Mother got to see her two granddaughters on her birthday. Last year on her 50th it wasn't a good time. Beth was pregnant with Bella and she was in Hospital, she was really really poorly so my Mother did't see them so this year I think my Mother was literally so made up she got to saw them all. I think it was like her 50th this year instead of last haha. She got to spend Saturday with her Sister in London seeing a west end show so she spent her birthday weekend with everyone she loves. Also yesterday Bella Mai turned 7 months old so it was perfect to spend that with her. We all had the most amazing funny perfect day and the weather was kind to us. I love being with Beth because we get on so well and we just laugh constantly when we are with my Mother, My mother, Brother, Beth and I together literally are an nightmare and wind each other up constantly haha.

Us... We cannot meet up and not take a selfie.

The cupcakes for the birthday girl.
So now that is all the birthday over for a few months then it is Bethany's in October then both of the girls in December... yes close to CHRISTMAS.. I said the C word sorry haha. Hope you all had a good weekend. I shall get Bethany to do Bella's 7 months update as she has grown up so much.

Clever Cakey!

So yesterday was my mothers birthday. Happy Birthday Mum :)

As she was getting about her business she had a strange parcel come through the post. (I don't mean for this to sound creepy lol) when she opened it she found a tin. Confused she opened it to find a little cake personalised been sent by my brother for her birthday.

This cake has to be the cutest cake I have ever seen. It is like a minature birthday cake. Small enough to be packaged and posted straight through the letterbox. They have it called the "letterbox cake" for obvious reasons. They also send out a balloon and candles with it too!

This is such a perfect idea for a little gift for lots of occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, mothers/Father's Day and get well soons. It comes in very handy for those family members and friends who don't see that often.

So if your stuck for gift ideas or your buying for someone who has everything this little idea is a perfect gift that is sweet, says a lot and tastes nice too!

You can purchase these at www.Bakerdays.com they do cakes all sizes and deliver :)

Sorry for my little break...

Hi everyone :)

I have recently had to take a little break from blogging.. I've had so much going on. From adapting back to Essex life, Ava's birthday, Christmas and preparing for Bella's birth.

Now as things start to settle down, Ava's 3rd birthday has come and gone I have things sorted for Christmas and I'm pretty much settled back I can carry on with my weekly blog updates, maybe starting properly back New Years, but doing the bits I can at the moment.

While I've been away Ava has turned 3!! She had a fabulous birthday and got spoilt rotten, it was safe to say she enjoyed her day.. We took her for a meal and bowling she got loads of present not just from us but from friends and family, I would like to say thank you to everyone Ava loves everything she got.  She is now a big girl of 3 and won't let us forget it reminding us everyday telling us when she see's little babies or little girls/boys.

As mentioned earlier I have been preparing for Bellas birth.. You guessed it I still haven't had her! I am currently over due at 40+5 .. I have a content little baby in my belly:) I will tomorrow have some news. Fingers crossed. When I find out my date of induction we will then know when our little princess is going to make an appearance! :)

Due to the fact I could be in hospital over Christmas I've had to make sure Christmas is sorted! Cards are done presents are all bought and wrapped and tagged for everyone! It's been a busy few weeks on that front but I have done it! And I'm relieved! Though I have enjoyed the Christmas rush feeling very Christmassy and festive.

This is all to tell for now, hope you all enjoyed the little catch up! Once again I apologize for my lack of activity! I will try and update you all on news tomorrow! And now carrying on blogging!

A Blog Update

Where have we been?

So few weeks ago we had no other choice than to take a break on our blog due to many reasons which can't be said online. But Me and Bethany are not living in the same house at the moment and where Beth is, she hasn't got a laptop or WIFI so she has been doing her best to keep up to date with her pregnancy update via her phone and rubbish wifi. I obviously have got access to laptop and internet but past few weeks I have been extremely down, ill and lack of motivation to even switch on the laptop. I didn't want to write a blog post just for the sake of it. Hopefully in the early months of 2015 we should have our blog back it's normal 2 blog post a day but for now we will be trying our hardest to keep you up to date with Beth's pregnancy and also few other random post.

With Beth being back in Essex and me being in Windsor it has meant we haven't seen each other at all over the past weeks which has been so so weird as we were so used to living with each other daily. Not only is Beth my soon to be Sister In Law but she is also my closest friend so it has been hard without her also not having my Niece and Brother around has been so lonely. So the post we use to write together will obviously be taking abit of a break but hopefully our separate updates and other blog post will start again and be back to normal in the new year.

Essex To Windsor will hopefully and we hope will be back to normal in 2015 where we hope will a new fresh start for all of us and for our blog. We apologies in advance if some days or weeks there is no content and obviously with Bella due any day soon, Ava's 3rd birthday, Christmas and My operation/health there will be days/weeks when it's impossible to write. Sorry!!!

Lots Of Love,

Happy 21st Birthday Beth

Today it is Beth's 21st birthday. Beth has been in Essex since yesterday and is spending the weekend at her parents home with Tommy and Ava. While Myself and my Mother will be joining them very soon. Today is the day my family get to meet the rest of Beth's family who we haven't met yet so it is an exciting day for all of us. I truly hope Beth has an amazing day and gets lots and lots of beautiful gifts.

Dear Beth,

"Sister in law by chance, friends by choice". This quote is very true. I'm very lucky to have you not only as my sister in law (to be) but also as a very lovely friend. You listen when I have my random rants, you care when I'm ill, you always make us laugh with your funny random words and I'm proud at you for being a amazing mother to Ava and soon to be to Bella. Thank you for giving me two beautiful Nieces ( I know Bella will be beautiful lol ), and for making my Brother the most happiest man alive. You two generally are made for each other and I will always be here to support, care and love you all. Happy 21st Birthday to my amazing Friend.

Love from your Sister in law, friend, personal organizer, beauty therapist and now my blogging partner.

Can we all wish Beth a very happy birthday today and happy birthday to anyone who shares this day. Hope you all have had a super weekend.

Preparing To Be 21...: Reflecting on life

This week has been my final week of being 20!! As my 21st birthday is coming up on Sunday!! (26th October). Its safe to say like a little child I am so excited for my birthday!! :).

Thinking back to my childhood days I always remember laughing and smiling. Its safe to say I had a happy childhood. I was surrounded by a loving family especially loving grandparents, 3 of which sadly aren't here today. I am the youngest of three as I have an older brother and sister, I am the baby of the family, in some ways this can be a good thing, in some ways not... ha ha. Having older siblings and seeing how grown up they got treated when I was little made me want to act older than my age because I was  'jealous' of them being grown up. Typical younger sibling jealousy. Fast forwarding to my life now, I am still a genuine happy person, just with a bit more stress added on! My life is near on perfect only thing that could improve is our own place. I am a person who laughs alot but like most I have the odd day where stress gets me a bit down. Being a mummy helps me deal with the harder stressful days. I believe children make it hard for you to be sad and moody, just one look at Ava's little face and Bella's scan pic puts a gleaming smile on my face. Some may criticize for me being a young mum, but to be honest I wouldn't have it any other way, Im glad Im having children young as there are so many advantages, I have health on my side, touch wood. I also have enough time as possible with my children. I have a happy relationship with my partner we parent together Im so proud to have his children, I would say he's proud of me too after putting a ring on my finger!!

I've had my fair share of ups and downs over the past 21 years like anyone can. Low points being very very low, some things that I have had to go through have not been very pleasant. As bad as these times have been in a strange way they have made me the strong person I have become today. To have to go through hard times while facing the everyday teenage struggles of school makes life harder  but you get through it. I was told by a teacher that I was going to fail at my GCSE's, I will never forget this day, as upsetting as it was to hear it, it gave me the push I needed to succeed and prove these people wrong. Needless to say I past my GCSE's. I hate education to be honest, but the pride I felt when I opened that GCSE envelope was amazing, it gave me the push I needed to go to college, I started a legal secretarial course. It was enjoyable. Sadly I didn't finish. I just didn't feel right doing it. I am grateful for not finishing tho because when Ava was nine months old I started a hairdressing course which I loved! I finished it and became a fully qualified hairdresser including mens cuts. I am happy with hairdressing and have found my feet in what I want to do career wise. As I mentioned I had Ava. I became a mum. The day I had her and held her in my arms was the most loveliest indescribable feeling ever. It was the proudest day and moment of my life so far that I will never forget.

Its safe to say I have had a wonderful 20th year. I have had so many ups and there all thanks to the great people I have in my life to share all my times with. So thank you to those who put in an effort to make me happy and help me out, its not gone unnoticed. I look forward to another wonderful year to come.

For Sunday Happy 21st Birthday to me.

Lots of Love
