A letter to friends.

Dear friends,

Before I met you I was a shell with an inside full of mush. Trying to find myself in a new place with a series of change happening before my eyes. Scared and anxious of what may come my way. Stuck in a rut of routine, a routine that I'm not knocking its a routine that kept me going and kept me dealing with day to day life. Yeah I have family, a great one at that. But they weren't there with me day to day though everyday phone calls kept me sane.
The amount of times I wished I had a "clique" sad I know, but I longed for the girly chats and the mum to mum school moans. School holiday meetings and coffee mornings. Most girls dream of fancy holidays, dinners and gifts. Me I dreamed of reigniting my social life. Social life, I used to take it for granted. Never really realised the value of friends. Sure I have Katie but I think of her more like my sister.
When we first started talking I was sceptical. Not of any of you, in myself. I didn't think it would move past the odd talk in the playground or outside my flat. Who would want a proper friendship with me? The more we talked and the closer we got the more the mush  inside this shell of me started to harden and thicken, became more of a substance. I started to feel like me again. I started to look forward to school runs and ballet runs. Started to experience night out. I was like a butterfly emerging from its cocoon. Coffee mornings are a thing now and set me up for the day, ballet afternoons on a Thursday happen regularly.
I have people to go to when I'm feeling down. I don't have to put everything on one person who was usually Katie. I'm glad I haven't got to put all my problems on her and I have you girls to help me to and like wise  that I can be there as a good friend to you ladies too.
I used to take social life and friendship for granted thinking I will always have it, how wrong was I. It makes you feel human, it gives you laughs and support and well company. Thank you ladies , and here's to many years of friendship.

Mother & Daughter Treat Day

Last Wednesday myself and my Mother went to Windsor town for the afternoon and it ended up being a lovely day. I woken up and thought to myself "I want a manicure and Shellac" as I was feeling crap, down and not myself so off we went to town .I went to a place called Images which for Windsor it quite reasonable price, the place was big, clean and very friendly. So I picked my colour (RED) and she started doing the manicure and My mother sat behind me waiting and I said get a pedicure done I will treat you and for about 20 minutes she was like no but finally in the end I convinced her that she needed to be pampered. So off she went to sit in the pedicure area and my nails were done soon as Mother started her feet as Shellac don't take long. Mine cost £25 which I thought for a proper manicure and shellac was good price and Mother got the Image Express Pedicure which was £25 and she was there for a good hour so I sat on the leather chairs in the waiting area and I was actually relaxing just sitting there and watching the world go by. The salon played relaxing music, the room was bright white light and the chairs was so comfortable that I could of easily fallen asleep haha.

This was the manicure area and the chair was so comfy, everything was clean and plenty of magazines to read.

I sneakly took a picture of my Mother while she was getting her manicure done haha. It did look so relaxing to be honest but I don't think I would be able to sit there for an hour because of my Back and Colitis. My mother has got awful feet haha but after this treatment her feet were so soft and smooth. Defiantly worth the money.

Sorry for the bad quality of picture but you get the idea. They used OPI Gel Colours and I picked the colour called "BIG RED APPLE" which is exactly what I wanted. I am bit of a Red nail lover and Bright Red by Barry M is the one colour I always wear so I wanted to have a bright red. I've always had natural/nude colours whenever I've had Shellac before so I thought I would go for something different and I love it. For me having this which will last 3weeks or more is ideal. I am forever painting my nails and I swear all my medication has made my nails very dry and bad to the point where none nail polishes was lasting long so a shellac is very ideal for me. I will defiantly go back the place and maybe have another random colour.

After the salon we really fancied a coffee so we went to Esquires Coffee Shop which is right in the heart of Windsor town so it was really busy but we got a nice seat and we just sat and chilled for abit before we started shopping. I had a flat white and Mother had a iced coffee and to be honest it was nice!!! Much prefer Costa.

We then done TK MAXX, LUSH, H&M, NEXT and DORATHY PERKINS aka sorry bank balance. 90% of the stuff I brought were for Ava & Bella hahah. I love nothing more than buying for my Nieces to be honest. We got a pizza from Marks & Spencers, got a taxi back and then had a chilled evening. It was just a mother and daughter day and night and it was so nice. For the first time ever we didn't have an argument hahah.

Having two chronic illnesses, depression, anxiety and panic attacks means I don't go out much and also constantly feeling crap so this totally cheered me up. It doesn't cost much to cheer yourself up and treating my mother to a pedicure actually cheered me up as she was happy. I will defiantly try and make this a thing once a month.

Why I Love My Hometown//Windsor

Although I have been living in Windsor pretty much most of my life, there is nothing better than coming into town and exploring. I love watching the Change Of Guards, walking by the River Thames and the other week Myself and My Mother walked around the "Posh" side of Windsor just looking at all the big beautiful houses. There is so much stuff and places I haven't even experience yet in Windsor which makes me realise how much lucky I am to live in a beautiful area.

15 minutes walk and I'm in the heart of busy Windsor town, 5 minutes walk and I'm in the Great Park which leads you to the Long Walk to the Castle so it's easy and quick to explore these things but I hardly go to the Great Park or The Long Walk. Windsor is constantly busy no matter what time or month it is, so it's hard to just "pop" into town for a quick coffee without getting stressed and annoyed that it's busy. So usually I will always have to have a reason to go into town like when I have to buy something, lunch, after the Doctors as its few minutes walk from there or if my family want to meet up in town. Lucky now there is a Costa near me so I don't have to go into the heart of town for a coffee anymore.

I have been into Windsor Castle a few times as my Cousin was a Guardsmen there as was my Father. Plus if you're a resident of the Royal Borough you get an advantage card which gets you into the Cadtle for free and the card also gets you cheaper parking, discount at restaurants and shops in town. But My Advantage Card need renewing which I need to do! Eton is just a quick walk over a Bridge from the River and it's nice to see all the Posh houses from Eton College, you see all the boys walking around smartly dressed and it feels very much "Posher" than Windsor but it's nice to walk around Eton.

The shops in Windsor are not everyone cup of tea to be honest but you got the usual H&M, Topshop, Next, New Look, Zara, TK Maxx, Marks & Spencer's, Boots and Superdrugs and obviously are a few Posh random shops which I never go in unless you have hundreds to spend haha!! They have good choice of places to eat/drink most are above the average price to be honest but there are the usually Nandos, Bills, GBK, Maccys, subway and Marks & Sparks cafe but one thing to watch out is the Wetherspoons in Windsor is more expensive than all the other Wetherspoons which is stupid, it's about £2/3 extra on every single meal so basically it's same price as the other "expensive" pubs and restaurants there. The have all the coffee chains there and my fave is the Costa Coffee which is in the Royal bit of the Train station which no one really knows about as its tuck away in the corner so it's hardly ever busy.

I might do another post about Windsor, maybe the best/worse places/things to do ect? I'm always finding new places to eat, have a coffee and building I never knew exsisted so I love walking around to explore. Of course it's busy being a tourist hotspot and you do need to have abit of money if you going to spend a day here but there is ways of making it cheap so I might do a tips on how to do a cheap day out in Windsor, shall I do that? Let me know :)

P.S my laptop has currently broken so my post will have to be done via my iPhone for the moment so if the quality of post are poor then I do apologise in advanced I do hope to get it fixed as soon as possible.

Just a little recommendation...

Many of you like myself must surely enjoy sinking into a hot tea or coffee in the morning to start your day or maybe you like an afternoon cuppa where you can enjoy a nice ten minute relax well I have something to send your coffee from enjoyable to sensational...

Syrups by monin

This one I have here is caramel, I love it. The odd coffee here and there with a caramel shot is a real treat. Of course you can get a variety of flavours so you can have a coffee that suits you down to the ground. These coffee syrups are also good for dinner parties ect or just when your entertaining friends or maybe a date. They add a little difference to your everyday coffee a little pick me up just when you need it.

I bought mine £3 from tesco they last a while obviously depending on usage, I'm sure you may be able to get it from other supermarkets but I haven't checked.

I hope if you try you enjoy :)
