A Small Tradition

I love Traditions no matter what they are but to be I think now days traditions are not made. Maybe it is the generation thing but even how small or big they are I just love them. This one tradition with my Mother and I is that every time Celebrity Big Brother is back on the TV's every night at 9pm my Mother comes into my Bedroom and we watch it together and we wait to watch the after show of Big Brother. I know it might sound stupid to some people but to me this means everything. We always make it a thing of getting some snacks and a cuppa aswel and we have a rule that we are NOT allowed to look at our phones when it is on but we can look during the breaks haha!! This honestly cheers me up sooo much and trust me right now I need cheering up with all my health problems going on!

My wonderful Mother & I

We have the same tradition with some other programs  but Big Brother is one show we stick to the tradition religiously. I think whenever I move out I will move my mum in for those few weeks every year Celebrity is on haha I would feel weird and not right to watch it without her.

We are both loving but also hating this years one. Purely because we both think Nadia and Perez should be out of the house ASAP then it would be fun and good. Obviously Katie Price has gone into the house ( Yes Katie Price is actually my real full name so you can imagine how many jokes and comments I've gotten about this ha), I always was a Katie Price fan then when her and Peter split I was team Peter haha but I think she has won the public over with coming into the house and being herself. I could actually talk all about about this years CBB but I won't bore you lol Oh and btw... I LOVE KATIE HOPKINS END OF!!!!

Have any of you got any traditions big or small? Or do you think they have gone in the time and no one makes effort to make new ones or stick to old ones? Let me know what you think.

PS - Katie Hopkins to Win!!!!!

A Cath Kidston Christmas Tradition

So a few years ago me and my Mother started a Cath Kidston Christmas Mug thing where every Christmas we would buy each other an Cath Kidston Christmas mug which we have done for the past 3 years. Cath Kidston always do a few different designs of Christmas mug every November/December and its this little thing me and my Mother do each December either as presents or just buy before Christmas.

This year my Mother went to Windsor town and came back with this bag ekkkkkk. Cath Kidston Christmas bags and gift wrapping are soooo beautiful in fact I always keep the bag and wrapping ha.

So my Mother got me the white star one and my mother got herself the red star one how amazing are they!!! Here is the link to the Christmas mugs on Cath Kidston have a look and grab one now because they are reduce to £5. I am abit obsessed with Cath Kidston in general but the mugs are something I collect. I own about 10 different ones now and shall continue to buy them. I just think for the value they are amazing, they last well and still look the exact same after many and many of washes. Also Im rather fussy with mug sizes (please say I am not the only one haha) but these ones are a perfect size.

Do you have any other weird and wondering Christmas traditions? I may buy some in the sale and also they do make an wonderful gift because they wrap them up for free so could easily be used for a quick late last minute present :) My cupboard is getting too full with these mugs now but that won't stop me buying them. I can't wait to have my own place in the future so I can have an whole kitchen full of Cath Kidston items haha.

Halloween - Ava's Costume!!!

As most of you know Halloween is coming up, this Friday to be exact. Its that time of year where children get  excited and want to dress up as something scary and do the trick or treat tradition. Those children who are old enough to decide what they want to be have their costumes planned for months or have a good idea as to what scary 'persona' they want to become for this one night. As a mum I love this time of year, I enjoy getting my little girl Ava involved in the tradition. She is more knowing this year, yes. She can tell you what a pumpkin is and that the costumes are scary, but she cant let me know what she wants to 'be' so that decision fell in my hands. As the time of year is cold I don't like to put on these witch costumes you can purchase from a supermarket as they are not weather suited, so I took on the task of searching online. After a week of debating we decided on Ava being a ghost, something that is actually less common! On Ebay I went and I found the perfect costume in Ava's size! I set out bidding and won!. This little number shown in the photo above cost me £5.45 incl P&P. All I have to do is team it with white tights and white t shirt which we already have and we are away! We are also going to put some fake blood on the tights and some white face paint on Ava:).

I hope this quick little post has helped those of you who cant decide what spooky character your child should go as at Halloween.

We cant find the exact costume, but you will find one similar here

Lots Of Love
